Welcome!

Welcome to Ashley McCann Photography. On this site I will be posting previews of sessions. I will keep a separate tab for some of my favorite pictures, but I want this to be a good preview for others looking to give you a general idea of my photography style and be able to see what kind of images I capture current to date- not pictures from 4 years back. All images are free to share- please do not crop out my web marks, they are there to protect my work. The pictures bellow are of my own kiddos captured end of June ~ Ashley

Hello,
My name is Ashley, and I'm a on site natural light photographer. I would rather come to you, which lets you and your family remain comfortable in your own home and settings. I also shoot on location at different sites for outdoor sessions as well.

My main focus is families, children, newborns, and maternity, and first breaths- birth session. I am also available for Senior Pictures and Business Headshots as well.

My sessions generally run 1 hour for families, children, and maternity.

First Breaths Session I am notified when mom is admitted to hospital, and I am there from when mom is dilated 4 cm and I stay until after baby is born up to an hour after. If C-section is scheduled, I arrive an hour before and stay up to 2 hours after birth to allow for recovery time for mom and baby. If C-section is arranged instead of natural birth, if allowed I will come in with mother and father and stay up to 2 hours after birth to allow for recovery of mom and baby. C-section shoots are subject to hospital rules on allowing me into the operating room or not. If not allowed, we will capture before going in, and after recovery.

Newborn sessions are 3-4 hours to allow for feeding and settling of baby. Newborn sessions are done within the first 14 days so that the baby is more sleepy and more easier to pose in all the cute squishy poses. I do accept babies over the 2 week mark, but they are much more alert, making sleeping poses harder to achieve.

Senior Pictures are up to 2 hours to allow up to 3 locations, including indoors.

I want you to be satisfied with your pictures, and not feel rushed. I do understand children have days just like the rest of us do they just are not cooperating. I am willing to work around this IF I am not able to get shots that both parents and I am satisfied with. I can reschedule 1 time without a fee.

While scheduling sessions, I require half of session fee to book to reserve your spot. I allow to reschedule prior to 24 hours one time. I do realize emergencies do happen, and depending on the situation we can generally work something out to better suit the situation.
